Here are some pics from the wedding and the rest of our stay in MTL.We have created this blog so that our family and friends can be up to date on all that we do in the UAE.

Montreal April 2010
As I mentioned in my previous blog we went to Montreal for a wedding. It was a very short visit, only 10 days, but it was all worth it in the end. We did not know if we were going to make it because of the volcano ash, but we got lucky and were able to fly out on our scheduled dates.
It's been way too long...
Hello Family & Friends,
I know that it has been way too many months since I last blogged, I know not because of my own guilt but because it has been so long since my last blog that Steve has stopped nagging on me to post. :-(
I truly am sorry and without giving you any excuses I will try my best to update everything on here before babe # 2 arrives.
So since my last post we have settled in our new home. We absolutely love living outside of the city and enjoying the peacefulness. We spend lots more time outside in our yard and at the pool. Lea is LOVING it!
Steve is back to BBQ and it just feels nice being comfortable. The only down side to living outside of the city is that when we have a sand storm we really get it hard. Sand has a way of making it into place where I never thought I would find sand, but here in the UAE it just everywhere.
We went to Montreal for a wedding and then we took a week vacation in Paris. When we came back after being away for 3 weeks our yard was covered in about an inch of sand. Apparently we missed 3 sand storms. We were cleaning the yard and all of Lea's outdoor toys for 2 days straight, but now it's all back to normal.
Steve started teaching!!! He is teaching the CFA level 1 Ethics topic and his first class was an incredible success. I'm so proud of him because he worked really hard to give a great lesson. He recently received an e-mail from the owner of the company for which he is teaching that he has received the highest score 98.3% from his students. He is a natural!!! For now I think he'll only be teaching Ethics, but with time when he gets more comfortable and confident he will teach other topics as well.
Lea is doing great, growing up fast. She talks, but in her own language which we still haven't decoded. The only recognizable words that we heard her say are "no" and "credit card". That's right, credit card! Other than that she is becoming more and more independent each day and her character is really coming through. We've had some melt downs, but other than the normal I guess she's one awesome kid. She has taken an interest in my belly now that it's really big, but I think she's more interested in my protruding belly button than what's inside. Trying telling her that there's a baby inside and that's it's her little brother or sister, but I don't that she gets the concept yet. We only have 3 weeks left and then we'll see how she'll react to the new sibling :-)
That's it for now about us...I will now upload some pics from Montreal, Paris and here.
Till next time!
